The Murder Complex by Lindsay Cummings

The Murder Complex
by Lindsay Cummings

In a dystopian Florida, the murder rate is higher than the birth rate, and a girl trained to survive there crosses paths with a boy programmed to kill.

Liked the concept, the world was interesting, the story had potential, but I just did not connect with it at all. The world seemingly fell apart in the span of one generation, the slang seemed silly and unnecessary, and the characters felt inconsistent. And the insta-love. I may give the second book a try later on. Maybe. But this was just not for me.
