The Raven Boys
by Maggie Stiefvater
Blue grew up in a house full of psychics, with no psychic powers of her own. Then she meets Gansy, Ronan, and Adam, and joins them on their search for the Welsh king Glendower.
Maggie Stiefvater has a way of describing atmosphere and the subtle things that make characters feel real. It can get a bit flowery for my taste, but for a paranormal novel about searching for unknown forces and a king of legends, the writing style felt fitting.
