Five geniuses find a way to make the world a bit more interesting with the injection. Eventually, they are forced to deal with the thing they created after it grows out of control.
I wasn’t really sure what to expect from this, but the cover really drew me in, so I finally got it, and I enjoyed it a lot. The art, the characters, the fully bizarre plot that mixes sci-fi with horror and folklore. The injection itself is a bit confusing. The story switches between past and present, showing how the group came up with the idea to create the injection and the present, where the injection has grown out of their control and is having strange effects on the world. It would have taken away from the story to have everything laid out though. Definitely going to pick up the second volume when I find it.
