To Be or Not To Be: A Chooseable-Path Adventure
by Ryan North

Much like the Romeo and Juliet choose-you-own-adventure book I read last month, this it the Hamlet version. In a silly adaptation of Shakespeare’s play, you get to read as Hamlet, Ophelia, or King Hamlet, (but mostly as his ghost because he dies right at the beginning).

I played as Ophelia first and invented central heating, married Hamlet, and lived happily ever after without ever encountering any ghosts, then as King Hamlet to avenge my untimely death on my own without ever involving my son. There are so many possibilities and endings, each with its own illustration. Shakespeare laid the groundwork, Ryan North made it ridiculous. These are a lot of fun to read.
