I Kill Giants
by Joe Kelly and JM Ken Nimura
Barbara Thorson kills giants, both real and imagined.
Abstract, yet relatable. Heartbreaking and hopeful. I loved this. Some of the panels were drawn in a way that made it difficult to tell exactly what was happening, which is the main reason I didn’t give this 5 stars, but I read this pretty quickly and enjoyed all of it. I liked watching Barbara deal with her problems in her own way and grow throughout the story to find a way to accept the things that were wrong in her life and face them.
