Sky in the Deep
by Adrienne Young
When Eelyn sees her brother, who she thought to be dead, on the battlefield, she loses her focus and is captured and forced to live with her enemies until she can return home.
This wasn’t as action packed as I had hoped. The beginning and the end were, but a lot of the things that happened in between just felt like things happening. Eelyn getting to know and changing her opinion on the Riki was important to the story, but it was easy to tune all that out when it didn’t feel like there was much driving the plot as she waited for the thaw. Overall I liked this, but it wasn’t nearly as gripping as I expected.
