Toothpaste for Dinner, the webcomic, has updated daily with single panel comics since 2002. This book collects 200 of those comics.

The comics are hand written and imperfectly drawn. They’re pretty simple, but capture an off-beat sense of humor, usually revolving around fairly mundane things. As the cover suggests, hipsters and hamsters each make multiple appearances throughout.

I read the whole thing front to back in a couple sittings, but you could just as well open it to a random page and read whatever comic you flipped to without needing any context. It might even be more enjoyable for some people that way.

Overall, I liked it, and the fact that the webcomic is still updating daily is pretty impressive.
