TBR | Book Tag

I shared my TBR for this month last week, but let’s take a look at my TBR as a whole today. It’s mix of fantasy and non-fiction. I think it might be more non-fiction than fantasy by now, although my answers may deceive you.

I don’t think the blog that created this tag is still active, so I couldn’t find the original

How do you keep track of your TBR book pile?

Since I’m just reading off my shelves right now, I look at those. Occasionally I’ll add a title to my wishlist on Libby if it’s not something I own though

Is your TBR mostly print or eBook?

Almost entirely print. I only have a few eBooks and I definitely prefer reading print

How do you determine which book from your TBR to read next?

Mostly by what I’m in the mood for

A book that’s been on your TBR list the longest?

I think that would be The Vagrant by Peter Newman. I don’t remember exactly when I got my copy, but based on where I got all my TBR books, this one’s probably been on my shelves the longest

A book you recently added to your TBR?

Castle in the Air by Diana Wynne Jones

I had no idea Howl’s Moving Castle had a sequel until I finished reading it recently

A book in your TBR strictly because of its beautiful cover?

Making it’s second appearance in this tag:
The Vagrant by Peter Newman

I love the cover of this book, it’s the reason I picked it up at the store

A book on your TBR that you never plan on reading?

If I don’t plan on reading a book, it’s not on my TBR

An unpublished book on your TBR that you’re excited for?

I actually don’t have any unpublished books on my TBR. My task of reading my owned books has kept me from paying upcoming novels any attention. I’ll be on the lookout soon enough though if anyone has any recommendations

A book on your TBR that basically everyone’s read but you?

Any of The Wheel of Time books by Robert Jordan. I’m still getting through the series myself, but it seems like all the fantasy fans have already read all the books since the long series has been completed for a while now

A book on your TBR that everyone recommends to you?

It’s not so much recommended as assumed I’ve already read it

The Wise Man’s Fear by Patrick Rothfuss. I started it when I finished The Name of the Wind, but I still haven’t finished it

A book on your TBR that you’re dying to read?

Another cover I love:
King of Thorns by Mark Lawrence

I enjoyed Prince of Thorns and I’m excited to continue with the series

What should I add to my TBR next?
