I don’t read many books with holidays at all, whether we’re talking a specific date type of holiday, or a fun trip type of holiday. So I’m going to be quite liberal in my definition of what counts as a holiday in this list. Here are five books with a holiday, from most holiday-like to ‘was that a holiday though?’
Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Meeghan Reads

13 Little Blue Envelopes by Maureen Johnson
Ginny goes backpacking around Europe at the instruction of her deceased aunt

The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith
Hadley travels to London for her father’s wedding

A Natural History of Dragons by Marie Brennan
Isabella goes on a trip to study dragons

Caraval by Stephanie Garber
Scarlett leaves home for the first time to see what turns out to be a too exciting show

The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien
Bilbo Baggins joins a group on a great adventure
Do you think Bilbo counted that as a holiday?

Oops!! Also meant to say that 13 Little Blue Envelopes looks so sweet!! I’ll have to add it to my TBR. Hope you enjoyed this week’s topic 💕
