As a lover of fantasy and graphic novels, I read a lot of series. And I don’t always finish reading those series. But that doesn’t always mean I don’t want to. Series can be a time commitment and with so many books to read and so many series to start I tend to start more than I finish.
I haven’t always recorded my reading, but it is something I’ve been doing for a while. This likely isn’t every series I’ve ever started, but it’s every series in recorded history.
Although my level of interest varies widely for each of these, here are all the book series I’ve started that I would like to keep reading:
- Odd Thomas by Dean Koontz 4/7
- The Diviners by Libba Bray 1/4
- The Remnant Chronicles by Mary E. Pearson 2/3
- The Kingkiller Chronicle by Patrick Rothfuss 1/2
- King of Scars by Leigh Bardugo 1/2
- Vlad Taltos by Steven Brust 3/15
- Merlin by T.A. Barron 1/11
- Hercule Poirot by Agatha Christie 2/39
- Ender’s Saga by Orson Scott Card 1/4
- Dune by Frank Herbert 1/8
- The Broken Empire by Mark Lawrence 1/3
- The Last Kingdom by Bernard Cornwell 1/13
- Howl’s Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones 2/3
- Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard 1/4
- Graceling Realm by Kristin Cashore 1/5
- Book of the Ancestor by Mark Lawrence 1/3
- Edinburgh Nights by T.L. Huchu 1/2
And the graphic novels:
- Rat Queens by Kurtis J. Wiebe 6/8
- Giant Days by John Allison 8/14
- Peter Panzerfaust by Kurtis J. Wiebe 1/5
- Green Wake by Kurtis J. Wiebe 1/2
Should I be prioritizing any of these?
