Little Library Adventures | Sunday Synopsis

Last week I went on a Little Free Library search. I went to four that were relatively close to where I live and although I didn’t find anything I wanted to take, I did finally donate the bag of books that has been riding around in my car with me for ages. It was a fun adventure and I’m glad those books finally have a chance to be read by someone else.

Last Week I Finished Reading

Finlay Donovan Knocks ‘Em Dead by Elle Cosimano – A continuation of Finlay and Vero’s newfound lives of crime have them even more mixed up in things as they try to prevent a murder. I’m loving this series and excited for the third one to come out next year

A Psalm for the Wild-Built by Becky Chambers – Short and sweet, this was more casually written than I had expected for how reflective it was. I adore Mosscap and its relationship with Dex, and the relatability of needing something and not knowing what that something is

Heartstopper by Alice Oseman – I’ve finished the first two volumes and, while cute, this story is very much outside of my reading comfort zone

Currently Reading

Master Assassins by Robert V.S. Redick – I’m not sure why I haven’t DNFed this book yet. Flashbacks are a big part of the story, but so far they haven’t added much, and there have been a few scenes that left me feeling uncomfortable. Still, there’s something there that makes me want to carry on. I’m going to slowly pick away at this until I either finish or call it quits.

Half a War by Joe Abercrombie – I loved the first two books in the Shattered Sea trilogy, but I haven’t really clicked with the main characters in this one yet. However, the characters and plots from the previous books have carried over and I want to see how it all comes together.

Six Crimson Cranes by Elizabeth Lim – I’m not too far into this one, but so far I’m enjoying it

Do you have any Little Free Libraries near you?
