My favorite stories are ones set in made up places. I like reading fiction to get out of the real world for a while and see all the maybes people can think up. With the inclusion of magic, creatures, and worlds we’ll never get to see, stories set in alternate universes present endless possibilities. Things don’t have to follow any of our world’s rules, we get to make all the rules up.
