It’s that time of year where I live when the days get both colder and shorter and it becomes very appealing to settle down in front of the fire with a cozy book all day. A cozy read to me is one that feels comforting and hopeful, even if it’s not a happy tale. They’re engaging, but not too heavy. I’ve picked out some books I think make especially cozy reads, including some children’s books that could appeal to readers of all ages, fantasy, fairy tales, sci-fi, and a romance. These are all books I’ve enjoyed and think of all of them as cozy reads.
