Sunday Synopsis

The Christmas book reviews have begun! I posted three children’s books last week and I have a week full of general fiction reads starting today. Sorry if you’re not interested in holiday reads, but, as someone who’s not super into the holidays, I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed most of them.

I can’t believe it’s almost the end of the year already. It’s been a weird one, but I’ve also had a lot of fun this year. Hopefully you have too.

Last Week I Finished Reading

The Christmas Bookshop by Jenny Colgan – After losing her job, Carmen moves in with her sister and begins a new job trying to revive a dying bookshop.

A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens – Ebenezer Scrooge receives warnings from certain Christmas spirits to change his unpleasant ways.

The Twelve Deaths of Christmas by Marian Babson – A series of odd murders keep the guests at Maude Daneson’s rooming house on edge.

Hercule Poirot’s Christmas by Agatha Christie – Simeon Lee calls his four sons and their wives home for an unhappy reunion that results in his murder.

Yes, still. This is my last day to finish this book before I have to return it to the library. Maybe I shouldn’t savor books that I don’t own.
