January TBR | 2023

Although I have 12 books on this list, and they’re not particularly short books, I’m really struggling to keep myself from adding another dozen. I’ve got a lot I want to read this year, and I’m excited about most of the books on my overall TBR, so I’m struggling to decide which ones I want to start the year off with. Certainly not a bad problem to have.

I managed to narrow my TBR down to 8 fantasy books, 3 non-fiction books, and a book of poetry. Some series, some owned books, some books that probably aren’t seasonal but feel seasonal to me. I’m sure I’ll also read outside of this list, but hopefully I can keep my excitement in check and stay focused.

Swordheart by T. Kingfisher
Rule of Wolves by Leigh Bardugo
The Wise Man’s Fear by Patrick Rothfuss
The Vagrant by Peter Newman

The Bear and the Nightingale by Katherine Arden
A Clash of Kings by George R.R. Martin
The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet by Becky Chambers
The Unspoken Name by A.K. Larkwood

Leadership and Self-Deception by The Arbinger Institute
The Poetic Edda translated by Carolyne Larrington
Einstein a Life by Denis Brian
Draw the Lightning Down by Michael Brian Schiffer
