I’m making a solid effort to reduce the number of series I’m currently reading this year, either by finishing series or DNFing them. But I still have a small list of series I’m eager to get started on once I catch up on the ones I’m already reading. Here are some of the series I’m most eager to start reading this year.
Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Meeghan Reads

The Tales of Einarinn by Juliet E McKenna
This series has been sitting on my shelves for a while and it still sounds so good, but I really need to finally prioritize it.

Powder Mage by Brian McClellan
A dark fantasy with a mix of magic and technology, this sounds both up my alley and unlike my usual fantasy reads.

Night Angel by Brent Weeks
A skilled assassin and another character making a risky decision in order to get by. Politics, magic, and assassins sounds like a good read to me

The Faithful and the Fallen by John Gwynne
I’ve heard good things about John Gwynne, and I’m excited to pick up his debut

The God-King Chronicles by Mike Brooks
I’ve DNFd Mike Brooks before, but I’m ready to give him a second chance. Hopefully time and the addition of dragons will make this series work better for me.

Powder Mage sounds like a lot of fun. I’ve contemplated putting it on my tbr for a while now. I hope you enjoy these when you pick them up!

Thanks! I never really go for flintlock fantasy, so it should be fun to try
