Happy Easter, if you celebrate.
Last week I finished reading a new sci-fi and also seven books from a single series. I loved the sci-fi, but unfortunately I didn’t love the series. Still, eight books in one week, not too shabby. And I am glad I read them all, even if I didn’t love them all. We finally got some hope of warm weather around here. Hopefully we’re done with snow for the season and all the little buds that have started appearing will have a chance of actually blooming.
Last Week I Finished Reading

Infinity Gate
by M.R. Carey
I had a lot of fun with this story. I did a dedicated review as well as a video review, if you want to hear more of my thoughts on it. Those will both be linked at the end of this post.

Every Heart a Doorway
Down Among the Sticks and Bones
Beneath the Sugar Sky
In an Absent Dream
Come Tumbling Down
Across the Green Grass Fields
Where the Drowned Girls Go
Wayward Children, books 1-7
by Seanan McGuire
An award winning series by an author that I keep hearing about, this series was just ok for me. It has a really cool premise and some interesting things happening within it, but ultimately the writing style was not at all for me.
